About Us
Linden
Fire Department was founded in 1982, a small group of local volunteers banded to
together to form a much needed fire department. These dedicated volunteers
protected the small farms and ranches within the community.
Since that humble beginning, members of the Linden Fire Department have
continually trained and prepared to respond to serve their friends and neighbors
when the emergency call came. Neighbors helping neighbors was the founding
principal behind the formation of Linden Fire Department and it remains today.
Located in central Navajo County in the beautiful White Mountains the Linden
Fire department protects hundreds of residents covering fifty-seven square miles
of homes, businesses, small farms and ranches surrounding the Apache-Sitgreaves
National Forest.
Our Department is a combination department with 11 full time Firefighters, 20
volunteers and reserves members who work twenty-four hour shifts providing Fire
Prevention, Public Education, Fire Suppression, Advanced Emergency Medical
