Burning Infornation

1. Before burning you must contact the Linden Fire Station at (928) 537-1101.

2. Burning will be allowed from 6:00am to 6:00pm. Unless otherwise stated by verbal contact with the Linden Fire Department.

3. You must be present AT ALL times during the burning of your authorized material.

4. You must have a water supply under pressure to extinguish any flames.

5. No burning when wind conditions are over 10 MPH. No burning ALLOWED during red flag conditions.

6. The material to be burned must be stacked and cut in piles that do not exceed 3' x 3'. No flame shall exceed a height of 4 feet.

7. All burning must be conducted at least 20 feet from all structures on your property.

8. No burning of: Garbage, cardboard, inorganic pesticides, paper, lead, oil, petroleum based products (tarpaper, plastics, rubber), treated construction materials, and cadmium.

9. Your fire shall not produce a thick offensive smoke that reduces visibilty and harms personal health.

10. During your burn you must produce a VALID burning permit on your person.

11. Fires deemed as recreational are soley for the purpose of cooking or warming. They must be in an approved campsite and/or another type of recreational device such as a cooking grill.
